We are an approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site for all our Outpatient locations (Ashland, Grayson, and Northern Kentucky)!

As a licensed behavioral health professional, you can get help with your school loans in exchange for a two-year commitment at one of our NHSC-approved sites. National Health Service Corps loan repayment programs can provide full-time clinicians with up to $50,000 and half-time clinicians with up to $25,000 in assistance.

Practicum/Intern Student Program

Ramey-Estep seeks to provide opportunities for students to get “real-world” experience in the mental and behavioral health fields through practicum and internship placements. While most of our placements are in human service fields, Ramey-Estep does work with placements in other areas such as Nursing, Business, Accounting and Human Resources. These placements are available for both Bachelor’s and Master’s level students. The practicum/internship program is coordinated by the Human Resources Department.
The first step in applying for a practicum/internship placement is to complete the Practicum/Internship Application. This application allows the HR Department to review the requirements of your placement to ensure that we can meet those needs. Once it is determined if a placement is appropriate you are matched to a program within Ramey-Estep and any additional paperwork needed for your University’s program is completed.

A background check is required prior to beginning your placement and this is completed by Ramey-Estep.
